SUMO 2020 Trading Company was founded in 2007 by Mrs. Suhanah Binti Kadir (Managing Director), a talented women entrepreneurs in business, especially in the used clothing business.
SUMO 2020 trading company commenced operations in 2007 with a capital of about RM200,000 with one container of used clothing imported from Singapore. Containers with a capacity of more than 300 sacks of used clothing consists of, curtains, shoes and fabrics used successfully marketed in Sandakan, Sabah in a month. In the next year, SUMO 2020 Trading Company has increased the number of stocks with 3 container has approximately 1,000 sacks and has recorded impressive sales only took 2 months to sold out in the fixed market.
In about the year 2008, SUMO 2020 Trading Company enlarge the market to Lahad Datu, Semporna, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau up to Kundasang, Ranau, Keningau, Tambunan and Sabah territories west coast, and successfully capture the market of used clothing.
The company has proven success after success to expand overseas markets in the Philippines with total number of sacks demand exceeds 300 per month in 2009 and 2010, the Company also has assets such as trucks, cars, and warehouse storage of used clothing.
In summary, the Company recorded total sales of more than 300 container within 5 years from 2007 to 2011, about the average amount of sales of 1500 bags per month. And also record a million ringgit in its financial .
